Workshop: How to Achieve Speed and Fluency on the C#/D Box Level: Beginner/Intermediate Date: Sunday Aug 2nd | Time: 12-1pm Eastern time (5pm Ireland / 9am Pacific) Join us for a one-hour workshop with Steve Jones on one of the most common frustrations for button accordion players: getting up to speed without losing the music. In this workshop, Steve will break down bellows technique and fingering strategies using a few popular tunes, giving you concrete approaches you can take straight to your own practice. Steve has been playing Irish music for 50 years and teaching it for 30. He's the button accordion teacher at the Montreal Siamsa School of Irish Music and runs a popular YouTube channel dedicated to the C#/D box. This will be a small group workshop, with time for Q&A at the end.
