Recommended Zoom Audio Settings
Step 1. Open audio settings
Join the meeting from the Zoom App (joining via the browser has fewer audio options). Click on the "^" button next to the microphone symbol on the bottom left, click on "Audio settings"
Step 2. Choose "Original sound for musicians"
Under "Audio Profile", choose "Original sound for musicians", and check "High fidelity music mode" and "Echo cancellation". Click "close" on the top right corner to return to the meeting.
Step 3. Toggle on "Original sound for musicians"
Within the meeting room, toggle on "Original sound for musicians" in the top left corner of the screen.
What time zone is the availability calendar on the listing?
The availability calendar on each listing is always displayed in the time zone selected by the instructor. See the "Time Zone of Calendar" field on the listing. If you're not located in the same time zone, you will have to convert the time. You can do so by using an online converter such as this one.
How to create a permanent Zoom meeting link
Step 1. Create an account
If you don't already have a zoom account, you can sign up for free here. Note that meetings are limited to 40 minutes with the free account.
Step 2. Go to My Account settings
You can access the advance settings from within your Zoom app by going to "settings" and clicking on "View more settings" on the bottom of the page. This will take you to your account in a web browser.
Step 3. Copy personal room link
The easiest way to get a permanent link is to use your personal room. From within your account settings, click on "Meetings" in the left tool bar, and choose "Personal Room". You can copy the permanent link here by clicking on the copy symbol to the right of the Invite Link. It is recommended that you use "Passcode" and "Waiting Room" for security purposes.
Step 3 Alt. Create a Recurring Meeting
If you don't want to use your personal room, you can also schedule a recurring meeting. For Recurrence, choose "no fixed time". For meeting ID, choose "Generate automatically". It is recommended that you use "Passcode" and "Waiting Room" for security purposes. Then copy the invite link. This invite should be active until you delete the recurring meeting.
