Lily plays traditional Irish music with a tender lift. She was bathed in this form of Music from an early age with her parents owning World renowned traditional Irish music shop, Custy's. Here, she was exposed to great music and fantastic musical characters.
Tulla in East Clare was the place where her musical journey began to form. She has developed musically on concertina and harp over the years, has played regularly in sessions and concerts, both nationally and internationally and teachers extensively on both instruments.
Miltown Malbay concertina player Liam O'Brien has been her greatest influence in recent years and playing with him and his family, has matured her into the player she is today.
